Luck Direction Shrine – Hochigai Shrine –

Hochigai Shrine is a unique Shinto shrine in Osaka. The name ‘Hochigai’ means ‘avoiding the wrong direction,’ and that’s exactly what it’s for! People come here to pray for safe travel or a smooth house move, avoiding bad luck from unlucky directions. Even samurai and emperors used it for protection! It’s not a huge tourist spot, but if you’re into Japanese traditions and superstitions, it’s a cool place to check out.
